HMS Excellent Launched : 1859 First gunnery training establishment at Whale Island. Laid down as the 104 gun first rate ship of the line, HMS Queen Charlotte, in October 1805 and launched 17th July 1810. Ex British (Queen Charlotte) renamed 1859. Sold for scrap 12th January 1892. |
